What is telephone interpretation?

Telephone interpretation is the oral rendering of one language into another language provided over the telephone. This is accomplished by a three-way conference call with an interpreter.

What is On-Site Interpretation?

On-Site Interpretation is the oral rendering of one language into another language provided in person, at the customer's location. Indian Translators provides professional interpreters to assist with conveying meaning for meaning interpretation, on-site, for our customer's convenience.

When are your interpreters available?

Indian Translators provides both telephone and on-site interpretation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, in most of the languages.

What kind of training do you offer your interpreters?

All of our interpreters are required to undergo our testing and continuous training in customer service and the complex terminology specific to the medical, financial, utilities and insurance industries.

When can I request an interpreter?

Whether it's on-site or telephone based interpretation you need, Indian Translators can provide you with an interpreter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With our telephone-based interpretation, we are able to connect you with an interpreter in seconds. Our on-site interpretation is scheduled to meet your specific time frame and language needs.

How do I request an interpreter?

Requesting an interpreter is quick and easy. Simply call Indian Translators, request a telephone-based or on-site interpreter along with your language needs, and an interpreter will either be added to your call or scheduled to assist you.

What do I do when an interpreter comes on the line?

Remember you are always in control of the call. When an interpreter joins the line, instruct him/her on the nature of the call and what information you would like him/her to interpret. Avoid using jargon, slang, or technical terms that the interpreter or non-English speaker may not be familiar with or understand. When briefing the interpreter, group your request to allow the conversation to flow smoothly and quickly.

How am I charged for this service?

At Indian Translators, we bill our customers monthly and on job basis. We charge a flat per minute rate for our telephone based service and we don't begin billing until an interpreter comes on the line. We provide detailed billing as well as customized billing that is designed to meet your specific needs. We can accept most major credit cards as a form of payment.

Are Volume Discounts Available?

Yes, depending on the monthly per minute usage, your company may be eligible to receive a reduced rate.
